On November 20, 2015, Paul Viau, Mayor of the Hemmingford Township, in the presence of the Minister of the Economy Jacques Daoust, WHIP and Huntingdon deputy, Stephane Billette, representatives of the Federal MP, Anne Quach, and local & regional mayors, announced the creation of the Hemmingford Industrial Park.
